Students who are six-years old and older take 30-minute lessons from the beginning. At this age, attention spans are growing, and increasing practice stamina and progress call for longer lessons! |

All our lesson programs include a weekly one-hour group lesson, in addition to individual lessons. In group class, we typically incorporate repertoire and ensemble playing, theory lessons, and performance rehearsals. |
|
There are three formal studio recitals and at least two community service concerts, each year, as well as our studio festival, the Ribbon Festival. Students are expected to participate in all performance events, whenever appropriate. HASSA Musicales, play-ins and workshops, held in Houston, are optional. |
